A little about the one noticing it all
This has never really been about perfect photos. It’s about what they carry.
The feeling you can’t quite explain, the moment you didn’t plan, the way something small ends up meaning everything. It’s the pause before something shifts, the quiet glance, the way it all felt more than how it looked. That’s the part I’m drawn to. Not just documenting what happened, but holding onto what might have otherwise slipped by.
I’m based in Colorado and usually somewhere outside. I like things simple, a little quiet, and not overly structured.
I won’t over-direct you or try to make something happen that isn’t already there. Most of the time, I’m just paying attention and letting things unfold.
Outside of photography, I’m usually chasing light or getting a little lost on purpose. This work just fits into that.
This work is about honesty. Not just in how something looks, but in how it felt to be there. I’m not interested in shaping a moment into something better than it was. I’d rather reveal it as it is. The subtle, the imperfect, the parts that don’t ask to be noticed but end up meaning the most.
There’s a difference between something that looks good and something that feels real. I’m always choosing the latter.
Because that’s what lasts.
